This would be like giving us some insight into why we're here – do people still believe what they say? It might help explain them better if there was another way… I don't know how common these questions are but since many folks feel their comments can only make things worse — especially when dealing directly w/ trolls—it seems worth exploring whether certain types may get hurt by such language as well! Yeah, I know you said this was a "cute" story, but the thing is, it was also a "torture" story. I'm thinking it's a good thing I said "cute" because I don't have any other option. That's not a criticism, it's just a fact. I mean, it's not like I'm a medical doctor or anything, but I have to assume that the trauma I suffered in that particular situation was pretty bad, and that I am likely to die. I'm also assuming that this was some kind of prank, because apparently, the post was removed. And it's not like I was commenting on that post to get a laugh out of it; I'm just commenting on my own comment. It's also a possibility that this person was a fellow redditor who had access to the original post, but who didn't realize the post had been removed and instead made a post about their own comment. So yeah, I'm not a doctor, but I have no idea how to deal with these kinds of hypotheticals.
