Why was the Holocaust so much more accepted during Nazi Germany, but the Holocaust was viewed so negatively in the US during WWII?

Because there's always some dark side to everything. Don't get me wrong, I love sims, but I grew up with my first ever sims family being Jewish and we were never really out until I was in high school. The first time I actually got out of my shell I was terrified and wanted to hide it from my parents, so I hid it in the basement of our house. I still feel awful, but the memories are a nice break from it.

Im a bit of a nut who likes to believe the story of how America ended up being so much more accepting of freaks during World War II. Ill make a case for this story. Basically, during World War II, America was basically at war with the Soviet Union and it was decided that a lot of the Soviet Unions military forces were too powerful and had to be dealt with. So, the US government created the "War Crimes Prevention Committee" which basically was the equivalent of a secret police. So, all those who had committed crimes against the United States were executed. This was basically the same time as the United States was having problems with the Soviet Union. So, basically, America ended up being much more accepting of freaks during World War II. This is a story Ive heard many times by people who are not Americans and its true. The American public at the time was much more accepting of freaks. \

I think we can agree there were some major differences between when America started accepting Jews for internment camps as opposed what happened after World War II
