Hopefully this story stays in discourse long enough to affect the processors bottom line
Not sure if these numbers still work, but if anybody is bored:
How can it 'damage the brand'? Doesn't everyone already see them as a blight on humanity?
- Everyone except the people who make the laws. They are the only people who really matter. If they get upset, regulations might get enacted and those can be bad for business.
Thankfully they played their cards well enought not to damage their brand!
I'm actually relocating atm and am looking forward to cutting my card.
- Yeah, it backfired really bad - suddenly people weren't just talking just about adults games, but also the Visa/Mastercard duopoly, corporations LARPing as lawmakers, and all of that.

If Mastercard claims they aren't blocking anything, then it should be no problem for Steam and Itch to put all the games back up, right?
Wow I was going to get a MasterCard card but now that I know gooners have bought porn games with their cards I'm definitely not going to anymore.
