Trump Mobile wants to sell you telehealth, car care and insurance

Hours after the high-profile launch of Trump Mobile, a new Trump-branded mobile service provider, in June, callers to the company's customer support line were greeted with, "Omega Auto Care, how can I help you?"

Two calls placed by Reuters that day to the mobile service's helpline rang to the Missouri-based auto-warranty company, which is part of Ensurety Ventures, a St. Louis, Missouri firm led by entrepreneur Pat O'Brien, who was introduced by Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. on June 16 as a member of the launch team providing "customer support and device protection" for Trump Mobile.

Remember when Carter gave up his peanut farm to become president? Now we've got one actively endorsing fucking beans , opening new golf courses, and starting up a fucking mobile phone provider, just to name a few. It's going to take decades, if not centuries, to reverse the damage done by this narcissistic overgrown oompa loompa and to restore any legitimacy to the presidency.
Makes sense to me: The entire service was designed from the start to only attract suckers. It's the ultimate sucker user base.

Same people who made Obama phone jokes are eager to sign up to be ripped off by Trump mobile.
And the grift continues to escalate.

The family created the MVNO off the name, Mango still gets a cut, it's built off the back of another already terrible MVNO on T-Mobile. The same T-Mobile that was allowed to accelerate 5G growth way ahead of Verizon and AT&T under Mango 1.0 when the oh so loved John Legere cut deals to get the Sprint merger accelerated and a fat bucket of n41 spectrum allocated. I'm sure their Chinese-ODM'd "made in the USA, oops, not" grift phone, if it ever sees the light of day, will be full of terrible infected software as well.
It is like a big recursive grift.
I don't get in what universe people would choose their primary telecommunications connection based on association with a person. Verizon, AT&T, and Dish are also terrible in their own rights, and the number of MVNOs in the US is staggeringly hilarious, but... it's meant to be a phone/message/Internet connection. One's cell phone isn't in the Indy 500.
The days of Catherine Zeta Jones hocking GSM/GPRS/EDGE are way over.
