I disagree. In B.C., as in Ontario and Alberta, it is still legal to wear braids. Reply: But there is no such law here. The law states: (1) No person shall be required to observe or wear a uniform or manner of dress or to wear a uniform or other conspicuous device, which is conspicuously worn or worn in a manner which conceals, or which appears to conceal, the fact that he is not a citizen of Canada or has a valid foreign residence permit. Reply: The law is silent on braids for women, unless it requires women to wear certain types of braids, such as "a braid of ribbon, a strand of wire or other material which resembles braids, or the form of the hair of a female." And in another section, the law states: (2) No person shall be required to wear a uniform or other conspicuous device, which is conspicuously worn or worn in a manner which conceals, or which appears to conceal, the fact that he is not a citizen of Canada or has a valid foreign residence permit. Reply: The law does not tell women to wear braids. It instructs them to wear a uniform, which they may wear as long as they wish. Women can continue wearing the same type of braids as men, and they can even wear whatever they want. They are not required to wear a specific type of braids, but they are told to wear a uniform. Reply: This is just one of many examples of government overreach and over-regulation. B.C. women who do not wish to wear braids cannot obtain a visa, and
The B.C. government has not provided clear guidance on how to deal with hair clips or hair clips in emergency situations. This is a federal issue and they should be operating with a policy that covers both situations.
If they did, the women would have been issued a notice to remove their hair clips and the situation would have been prevented. Instead, they have waited for the police to make a call and have been left frustrated and with their hair clips. The police should have been aware of the potential for choking when using clips and should have addressed this before sending out a warning.
It is not reasonable for a woman to have to remove her hair clips in an emergency and no woman should have to choose either safety or wearing a braids in an emergency.
Thanks for reading my rant.
I’m a women, I’m a woman, I’m a woman, I’m a woman, I’m a woman, I’m a woman. The only reason I’m here today is because I’m a feminist. I’m a feminist, I’m a feminist. The only reason I’m here today is because women are not being allowed to wear braids for their own personal safety. They have to wear a braided wig. A wig makes it impossible for a woman to wear a braided wig. You see in the comment I made earlier, I’m not asking for the government to give women a choice in this. I’m simply asking that you please take a moment to listen to me and to the words I am saying. The next step I’m calling for is for you to stop using the word ‘women’ in this conversation. Stop using the word ‘women’ in this conversation and stop using the word ‘women’ in this conversation. I want you to stop using the word ‘women’ and stop using the term ‘women’ in the same sentence. I don’t want you to stop using the word ‘women’ in this conversation, but I’m asking you to stop using the term ‘Women’ in the same sentence, especially the first sentence. The only reason I’m here today is because of the following words.
Edit: I would like you to tell
You are not allowed to use the word “women’
I just need to say this, and you can say it more easily too. The term 'woman' in the singular means woman, woman, woman. There is a difference between “woman” and “woman”. I think it's more likely that it is to mean “woman” in the plural, rather than “woman” in the singular. It is, as the title says, a noun, and is used to refer to the individual.
The government made it very clear that this is why braids were chosen, and there was a strong and growing desire within the country to remove the fine. The idea that braids were bad and the government was doing it to make women look bad is a total myth. It was done as a last resort and there were not enough other options.
On the other hand, if you wear your hair in braids it is a total violation of the law and has serious ramifications for your safety. You are being harassed. This is a public safety issue and not a case of bad hair.
How do you feel about this?
Please don’t be a dick about this. It is really annoying. Thank you for your comments and condolences.
It is so stupid and it is stupid that it is a thing.
I have been wearing my braids for the last two weeks! If the government wants to let you wear them without penalty, just go to any corner store and pick up a bunch of different ones. You should have no problem finding them in a jerryrigs aisle with a bunch of different designs, I know from experience!
Sorry, I just had to get this off my chest. The people who have to wear the braids in Canada are Canadians. If you come to Canada to take your kid to the waterpark, the security will ask if you are wearing the braids, and if you say yes they will let you in. Canadians are just as shocked and annoyed by this practice as anyone else. The only people who seem to be laughing at this are the customs people, and those who are looking to buy a bunch of new ones.
I see you're not going to change anything in the current situation, but I'll give you a few ideas:
Don't go to the store for braids, go home instead! If you are in a bra shop, don't go to the checkout line to get a bra. Instead, go get one at home, and take one home, then go back to the store. If you are in a retail store and you are looking for a bra, you do not have to wait for a customer to come in. All you need to do is walk in and be there when the checkout line starts. If you need to find a bra in a store, then walk into that store and walk around for a bit. If you are wearing a bra and you find a bra in a store, then go back into that store and get a bra. If you are wearing a bra, but are not actively shopping, then leave the store and leave the bra for someone else. If you are in a bra shop and you are not actively shopping, then you should either go back into the bra store or leave the bra for someone else. If you are wearing a bra, but are actively looking for a bra, then you should walk away and go home. If you are a bra wearer and you find a bra in a store, but you are not actively shopping, then you should return the bra to the store. If you are a bra wearer and you have been asked to remove your bra for a service, then you have to remove that bra and present it as new. If you are a bra wearer and you have not been asked to remove your bra for a service, then you do not have a bra. Please refer to the relevant store for more information. If you are a bra user and you have not been asked to remove your bra for a service, then you do not have a bra. If you are a bra user and you have not been asked to remove your bra for a service, then you do not have a bra. Please refer to the relevant store for more information. If you have not been asked to remove your bra for a service and you do not have a bra, then you do not have a bra. * * If you are a bra user and you have not been asked to remove your bra for a service and you do not have a bra, then you do not have a bra. Please refer to the relevant store for more information. * * If you do not have a bra and you need help with a bra finding, then you can still leave a message in the appropriate store and wait for a response. * * If you see that you have been asked to remove your bra then it’s back then you should be able to return it to the next working day at no charge. If you don’t have a bra that bra then you can take it back home. * * * If you don’t have a bra and you need to exchange it urgently then you can always send a photo ID and a description to confirm that you are still wearing a bra and that you can always return it at the next working day at no charge. Thank you for your cooperation. *If you see that you still have not been asked to remove your bra then you can always request a pic to confirm that you still have a bra in question or you can always return it in the store. You can always give us a bra back then. * *If you still have not provided a picture then you can always get a picture of
If we're going to be stuck here for the foreseeable future, you'll need to stop the constant updates on the situation and start from scratch. There are a lot of other reasons to do this, but I think this one is my favorite. Just go to the subreddit and post your thoughts and ideas about the situation and the direction we should be going in. Keep the thread on the subject for at least an hour. If you have any ideas, leave them in the comments and I'll make a new one.
You might have better luck if you send in your ideas from the beginning.
What do yall mean by 'a lot of other reasons' for banning the access of this sub? Is that even true? I know the majority of women here already do not have the means to wear braids.
“There’s no law that says you can only wear braids. Women don’t need to wear braids, men do!”
They also say that it’s the women’s fault. Well that’s not true, the government is not the one responsible for the laws on this. I’m not sure what you’re trying to do with this information. It’s ridiculous to me.
I guess the idea is that you’re forcing women to dress in revealing clothing. That they are making it harder for men to be attracted to women who look a certain way. That it’s a form of harassment. If a man doesn’t like this, he should find a different woman to date.
If you have any questions please let me know!
TL;DR: The government is not responsible for laws on this<|sor u/Sparx5|>Oh, this is so fucked up. I dont know why a government body would do this to women. I wonder about the social stigma around braids.
This is not a good thing for the world, but the people in the world would never be so stupid as to actually make it happen. Rule 10, link to original post:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As someone who went to school under rule 10 in the 1970s when it was actually ruled as a requirement by the Supreme Court and the B.C. government, I find this completely and utterly insane and pathetic. B.C. needs to take a stand and defend their citizens from this insanity, but what can I say. I hope it works out in the end. I also wish them some luck.
Rule 6: No braids.
They are the ones who make the rules, and the ones who enforce them.
I mean, you’re right. I was also in college, but I wouldn’t be banned on social media. What do you mean? I did not do that. I am not a bad person, if that makes sense.<|soopr u/joey1934|>It’s because I am an adult. I don’t want to be in a situation where I have to go to the police department to tell them how much I love them but then I have to have to make it to the courthouse where I have to show up as a woman for a few hours to get my $700 ticket. I don’t know how to express my love to the woman in the photo without seeming like a douchebag and I’m not very talented at doing it but I’m a good person and I have to do this for myself.<|soocr|>Oh good! Good luck to you!
I do not accept this response. I do not want to be in a situation where I have to tell the police department I am a woman and the ticket is denied.
You are right. We are not responsible for all these things that have been happening. You are right. The government has done nothing to stop these things and now the women are too, so why should you blame them for it?
I am a historian and the only answer that fits the current historiography is the answer to 'Why do you blame the women?'.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

https://www.cbc.ca/technology/canadian-women-crowdsource-their-best-underwear-for-pregnancy-campaign/72469925 I have been a regular bra user for a while now and have been told that the new laws are a huge waste of time and energy, especially considering the fact that I know that this is NOT something the majority of women want to do.
As a non-binary woman, I have noticed a huge uptick in the number of people I see who are using undergarments or skirts for the first time. I have also heard a lot about the fact that women are more likely to do it since we are more open about our bodies and bodies are more accepted, so I think it's important to keep that in mind.

Yes, the other way round. The NDP's new "tough on crime" strategy, which will make it more difficult for young women to get married, and harder for young men to get married, and harder for young boys to get married, is bad news for the young, for the old, and for the whole society. Yes, it’s bad news for the young, for the old, and for the whole society. It’s bad news for the country. B.C. NDP Leader John Horgan is not only wrong about the role of the media in promoting his anti-marriage bill, but also wrong about his own party. Horgan has been using a piece of paper in the House of Commons as a prop, while he ‒s waiting for the NDP caucus to meet to put this nonsense on the ballot.

A lot of men don’t wear bras. The government is going to punish you. Be sure to tell them to wear a bra that fits and it doesn’t show the chest or neck area. That’s why they did it to us.
I did it, I know. They don’t get it.
The government says you can't go on public transportation without a bra and they want you to wear it. The government says if you wear a bra it’ll be a problem. I did it. They said if I don’t wear a bra I’ll be fined. The government is trying to make sure no one wears a bra for no reason.
This is a good point, so I’m glad it was brought to our attention.
“It’s a great idea to include braids on public transit, but it’s a bit tricky since the government doesn’t have a uniform policy on what we can do.”
“We’re not going to make it mandatory, but we’d recommend it.”
“You should also be wearing a top, even though it may make you look better.”
That’s all. I’m glad you’re not going to go to jail. Yes, bras, yes. I think it would be wonderful if more people got to wear them.
In the UK, people can have their hair cut or wear a dress or whatever and they can get a certificate in their name or a letter from a professional, but it cant be a braided hair, as there is a limit on how many people can get a braided hair in any one year.
There is no limit, in the UK, for the number of people to be able to have their hair cut in a given year. So it's a lot easier to get a letter in their name than a braided hair in one year.
1.5 million women have been turned away because they did not have a braid or were in a head covering . There are 2.5 million Indian women in the same situation.
2.5 million are still waiting .
Blind comments on braids not a “daddy problem”.
*** I’ve seen people say “don’t talk about the braids”, which is fine. You don’t have to talk about it. I’m not trying to make a point.
Hi! This is the government’s website regarding BC legislation and it’s a page on how the government treats the public (which is also a link to the government’s BC website).
Link to BC website: https://www.gov.bc.ca/docs/33/e1/f21/17-20/s2300578/ (https://www.gov.bc.ca/docs/33/e1/f21/17-20/s2300578/)
If you scroll down you can see the BC government has made the government website less safe for women.
The page says:
"It’s important that we provide more support services to help BC students, families and businesses deal with the issue. BC students, families and businesses are already working hard to find solutions. This website will help you find information on how we are working to better serve you and support you in all areas related to BC’s education."
The link to the BC website says the website has “more resources and information on BC’s programs, services and services.”
This is a government agency. They do not provide these services for the people who need them.
I’m just not sure how to explain it. I can’t think of a better description that makes sense.
The government website says it’s “provided more support services”, but still makes the government website a non-public website.

I am not going to comment on the history of the government as I was told to do so by the lawyer. The law is very clear and I am quite certain that it applies to everyone, regardless of race, gender or religion. I am not going to comment on any specific incident or comment on how many times it has been brought up in the past.
In the past, women who wore braids were either sent home or arrested. The reason being that some people said that they were concerned about safety or because they were worried about getting caught, while others said that they were concerned because they felt that the police would harass them for wearing them and they were not wearing them in the first place. In other words, the law was that people had to wear them.
As a woman who wears a bra and does not feel unsafe, I am pretty sure that this isn’t the same. I don’t believe that you have a valid point.<|soocr u/aqualung01|>I'm not a lawyer, I don't know the history of the law, I'm just going to say that this is the government’s fault. The law is very clear and there was no reason why women shouldn’t be wearing braids or face penalties, they're just not wearing them in the first place.
As for the people saying that they were concerned about safety or because they were worried about getting caught, I don't believe that is what led to them being arrested, I believe that is what led to them being told to wear the braids. There are other things that can lead to your being arrested, such as if you
Yes I have no problem with anyone who wears a bra and feels safe wearing it
The government does not want women to wear braids, but it does want us to wear them. It doesn’t want us to be forced to wear them, but it does want us to be forced to wear them. It doesn’t want women to be forced to wear them, but it does want us to wear them. It doesn’t want us to be forced to wear them, but it does want us to wear them. If women are forced to wear braids, they will be forced to wear them. The government is trying to make this up as much as possible by pretending it’s not doing so. The government has a clear choice to make. If it wants us to be forced to wear braids, it will not. The government is forcing you into it. If it wants women to wear braids, they will be forced to wear them. The government will do the right thing. You will be fine. And I will be fine. (Edit: This was posted on the B.C. Liberal Party website and I apologise if my comment was too blunt, but I feel like I was being a bit mean).
Thank you so much for the kind words and support. I appreciate all of the kind comments and I want to exchange some of my own, as well as a few of my own. The comments have given me a bit of hope and I think I’ve given my wife and I a good idea of where we stand. I was born in the UK and my mother tongue is English. My father is Nigerian, so his father is also from Britain. My dad and mum speak different languages, so they have been able to communicate and it is through us that my mum understands what is going on. It has given me a bit of a sense of belonging and a safety net in the UK if anything comes up that
Government tells women to wear braids or face penalties. That’s what women have been told for centuries.
The government tells women not to wear braids or face penalties. It tells them to not be under the impression that braids are a bad thing, that they make you a target for harassment or other harm, and that wearing them is a way to shame them and make them feel insecure.
