This is actually a good question. I think most people who are straight have some sort of mental health issue that is keeping them from expressing themselves fully. I would say most straight men and most straight women are scared of being seen as straight and masculine or straight and feminine and feminine. They know it’s something that would cause them to get really sad and lonely, which is a big part of being a man or a woman. So it seems fair to say most straight men don’t really have a good reason to be scared of expressing themselves fully and frankly it’s a very big part of being a man or a woman. It’s very painful to think of how much better you would feel if you had that mental health issue and you just got it out of your system. I’ve done a few interviews about mental health and it seems there’s a huge stigma around mental health issues and especially with men and straight people. People just assume that you’re a man because you’re straight or because you’re gay and straight, or because you’re straight and gay and straight, or straight and bisexual. Some people will say that this is just because you don’t believe in the straight norm, but that’s not the whole point. You are not judging people for what they believe or what they look like or who they love or who they date or who they date. You are not judging them or judging them for the way they look, how they act, or even how they talk.
But not to do so would be an unfair comparison. A woman might get mad when she sees someone is a straight man or a gay man. A man might be angry when he sees another man is a straight woman. A woman might be mad when she sees another woman is a gay man. A man might be angry when a woman is a straight woman. A man might be angry when she sees another man is a straight man.
I dont know why its come to this. Ive read articles about men being afraid to be seen as "other" or "daddies". Its just something that happened to me, so I dont know why its brought up.
