I’m so happy that this made you feel appreciated. I know it’s a lot of work for you to do, but it really means a lot to me to know that you appreciate it. I just wanted to share a small personal moment that has been searingly painful in my past but it’s also become one of my favorites things in my entire life. I’m writing this because I’m trying to inspire people to do the same. I know there are people who are struggling and that they deserve support and I want to provide that. I agree with you about the lack of awareness that it takes for people to recognize
- This is why it's so important for trans rights and we are very thankful to have access to a healthcare provider to be able to get our hormones. However, this doesn't mean the doctor is responsible for taking responsibility for our mental health, it means the provider has a responsibility for the medical treatment, if a doctor doesn't get what he is supposed to, you can sue them to get it right. It is not a medical decision to make, it is not the right choice, it is not something we have to go through to be healthy. You are being educated, I'm not being ignorant here to hurt you, but if someone tells you the truth it doesn't happen.
