Wow, really suckling that orange teat, aren't you Skydance? With a $20 million donation too.
This merger is a purchase-and-tank operation. CBS is a front for right-wing misinformation now.
Why is this weird company who no one has ever heard of able to buy this well established network and run it into the ground?
I already cancelled my subscription. Fuck this. I'm so sick of these giant corporations ruining everything I enjoy.
- It's a production company that has made movies you've probably watched or have definitely heard of (e.g. True Grit, newer Mission Impossible movies, Top Gun Maverick), but more importantly, it's run by Larry Ellison's son, David. As in Larry Ellison the billionaire who founded Oracle and is consistently somewhere in the top 5 richest people globally.
  So the answer is having a stupid amount of money to throw about, as usual.
Throw in a blowjob for the President and twenty-million for a 'library', and maybe you'll have a deal.
