My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer volumes 1 & 2
Story about an adventurer who retires young due to an injury, only to find new meaning in life raising an abandoned child as his own daughter.
I'm liking it so far. It's a nice heartfelt story, mostly pretty chill. There are some subplots involving demons and politics and such, but a good chunk of the story focuses on the close relationship between the father and daughter.
Sounds interesting. I remember really liking A Story About a Droid (this is a manga, not a LN) and it has a similar premise but a very different setting. I will check it out!
Magic Stone Gourmet: Eating Magical Power Made Me the Strongest Volume 1 & 2 - Entirely average across the board and the second volume has some especially strange power creep jump that left me wondering what the author was thinking. It goes from fighting a small-time thug here and there to fighting a legendary calamity monster that destroys entire landmasses. No build-up whatsoever. - 5/10 pebble licking MCs.
Moon Blossom Asura: The Ruthless Reincarnated Mercenary Forms the Ultimate Army: Volume 1 - You know how everyone shat on Made in Abyss because the mangaka put his fetishes into the story? Now imagine that the fetishes were torture and rape of little kids, and you get this book. The only good thing I can say about it is that the group of mercenaries the books are following aren't your typical goody-two-shoes characters. Sadly the main psychopath lacks any depth whatsoever before she could have become interesting. - 2/10 eeeek eeeek eeeek Psycho score playing in the background
My Quiet Blacksmith Life in Another World: Volume 7 - I like this slow waifu of the volume approach of this series. This time with fairies! Didn't like that the pulled a Gotobun in the bonus story at the end though.- 7/10
@NineSwords Secret of the Silent Witch 1&2
The story and characters remind me of many Anime and Light Novels that I've watched and read before. It's another favorite of mine, alongside Tearmoon Empire.
I'm absolutely in love. Volume 6 and 7 made my heart (and brain) melt
Title
I've never seen that type of time travel. At one point I was wondering when this slice of life romcom thing turned into time travel covering these deep themes.

Bottom Tier Character Tomozaki Vol. 1-2
I laughed my ass off at some parts. This was way more entertaining than I thought it'd be. I probably won't binge alle the volumes I currently have, cause it doesn't hook me in a way that it could do that. It's more of a here and there kind of story that would suit to be read inbetween me binging the rest of torture princess (which I've finally gotten all volumes of at home now)
