IIRC, in the early 20th century, it was considered fashionable in some segments of French Canada to get all one’s teeth pulled out and replaced with dentures, so maybe time is a flat circle here.
So the officers are going to be prisoners as well? They will be on site, hanging out in a tent in the swamp.
I understand capitalism, I have no respect for the economic system but understand it, but a Canadian company hires out the people for US prisons in this economy? Then $25/hr for 60 hours a week, to live with scared people.
From what I understand it from reading the post it is something like a week on a week off. I am sure it would be very stressful and I do not see people lasting long times; or there would be people who stay employed for a longer time, like an oil rig. I can see the proud boys applying and getting the jobs and people will die there, until it rains and the proud boys get a little wet and scared of the water.
