A guide to creating a new community to Lemmy?
Hey you!
I just created a community.
And started to wonder whether it's cool/interesting enough. Or whether it even follows the rules to exist in the first place, heh...

It discusses generating enough content in a new community to give some ground for discussion, and moderating it.
But I thought that as time has passed...maybe we'd have some new/more insight or ideas/thoughts about different tips, tricks or guidelines towards creating a quality community? A 2025 version of that old post, if you will.

We're still adding and brainstorming content, and then we'll organize it nicely (similar to the For Users section).
What kind of information would you like to have?

Common community rules (a template, if you will), a few examples of a good post (and a bad post), things to think about/keep in mind when posting or creating a community...
Sorry I missed this a while back, but yes that sounds good :)
One thing we're waiting on is to have a new set of guidelines for ourselves. We were thinking of having some recommended guidelines that community mods can pick from. We can probably make it interactive and have it copy to clipboard in some order of priority
