That's the secret with a starve the beast tactic. Either your funding cuts don't impact performance so you can claim there was bloat or your cuts ruin the program so you can say it needs to be dismantled.
Curious what the end game is here. What is ultimately driving the desire to effectively accelerate preventable diseases? The nihilistic side of me is on board, but the realistic and empathetic side of me simply cannot spin a single positive goal out of it.

Not sure how that was misinterpreted there. Basically the exact initial core definition of it. The belief that nothing fundamentally matters, the values of life in general are cosmically irrelevant, that coupled with the idea that humans are a plague on the planet. Should the population become halved or eradicated by diseases that could have been prevented, I wouldn’t protest.

They're trying to increase their own power by squeezing the existing power entirely into the least amount of oligarchs possible because less people is less people they have to care about to get paid. That or the less people they have to kill to own everything themselves.. or both.
