A lady at the grocery store, unprompted, told me the poorly stacked water cases were DEI. Boomers have 0 idea what the acronym even means
77 0 ReplyDEI is a replacement word for the slurs they’re afraid to say out loud (for now).
69 0 ReplyThey always find a way to pronounce "DEI" with a hard R.

Of course, it's yet another word they use for things they hate, like communism.
5 0 ReplyI don’t suppose you asked what she could possibly mean? Do you have any speculation?
2 0 ReplyThey believe DEI policies lead to incompetent people being hired rather than the more qualified white candidates. Those incompetent employees stacked the water bottle wrong, therefore DEI is to blame for the poorly stacked water bottles.

it would make more sense to blame immigrants than DEI, neither make much sense either way but at least blame something that could cause the problem (like poor training or low wages).

It's ironic because FB comments/post in general always have the worst spelling and grammar you've ever seen.

12 0 ReplyTHEY'RE EATING THE FROGS! THEY'RE EATING THE BATS!
6 0 ReplyI'll never understand that terminology. Is that where they acknowledge they are racist and someone is treating them poorly because they are? If not, how is it reverse? It's just racism.

16 0 ReplyWere they not mocking the prevalence of people saying that by applying it to an absurd thing?
How do you know they weren't joking?
8 0 ReplyTheir profile was full of "God bless the troops" and "Joe Biden must resign", so if it's a joke, it's a very involved one
12 0 ReplyI want to know how these people would react when confronted directly with "so you're saying black people are stupid?"
I know they'd probably just say yes without any shame, but then at least other people would see it.
5 0 ReplyAhhh, yeah, that would have to be some serious dedication to a bit for sure.

I think they meant to say AI - which is still wrong 🙂
4 0 ReplyIt's just emotions. No facts or consistency. Don't like thing? Call it bad-name-thing. All that word means is it's bad.
They are like toddlers.
