  Depends on why exactly it didn't land for you. The story is nearly one to one, so the only difference would be the pacing and art, and of course a lack of music, voices and animation.

I watched all of Undead Unluck. There's just something about it that kept it at mid. Maybe because the male protag is so... shallow? Or maybe the lore never hit me?

When I explain the concept and read the wiki, it sounds awesome. Which is a shame, because it feels like it could have been a great series.

Like he's deliberately dragging out the chapters, there's no doubt about that, but it's hard to say if that's also the point of the plot or if he's just stretching out a good idea as much as possible.
  I actually caught up on the infamous chapter 380, waited one week for 381, then decided I'm not doing this every week and put it on hold on comick.io with the intent of coming back in a year or so maybe to catch up on what happens in the next week or so after 381 lol.
  The artwork is top tier so at least it's nice to look at, even if Kazuya's monologues are frustrating af to watch. Just take a deep breath and chill out dude (directed at Kazu, not you lol).
