LOT Polish Airlines has chosen the Airbus A220 as its new regional aircraft

So, for those who don't know the story : this Aircraft was launched by Bombardier Aviation in 2008 as the "CSeries".

In 2018, Airbus bought that company and rebranded the plane as "A220".

It turns out that this plane is manufactured in Canada and, as of 2019, in the US.

It's also worth considering that Airbus is officially registered in the Netherlands (although it manufacture no parts there), to pay less taxes.

So it's not as European as it gets, but... at least they didn't go with Boeing 😂
