I wish they just responded with a full lore dump that would be far more confusing
"Yes mom, I'm sorry to tell you I'm part of Thanos' army now. He is traveling planet by planet to erase 50% of every global population. I think it's really smart. You might disappear though, but it's all for the balance. Once we kill those pesky Avengers and collect all the Infinity Stones we'll be right on our way. Sorry, can't talk now, hope your phone is charged over 80%, busy busy. And thoughts and prayers that you're part of the 50% that remains! If so I'll call you tomorrow after we kill Spider-Man. Love you."
I get it from context clues, but I have no idea what’s going on in the screenshot. The only Marvel movies I’ve seen are like…. iron man 1 and uhhhh transformers? If that’s marvel.
It could be your personal imaginary friend from childhood and it would still stand. The point of memes is that context is optional. I haven't watched American comic hero movies either. The point is that there's a character taking or holding something
yes, we can deduce that someone is doing something and that is being compared to taking a phone charger when it isn't needed. but a solid meme references an image that has a humorous and well understood comparison to the topic. this just appears to be a guy using a robot arm device. I don't know how that comically references someone taking something that they don't need when they already have enough. does it?
