More people should be cats.
What I like is that they're low maintainance in general but you can still invest a lot of emotional labour if you want to have a closer bond. There's so many levels of how much a cat trusts you. Never gets boring.

They sure know our names as "servant"!
Cats know their names after a while but often do not care to react to them (or at least not in the way the human wants)

I mean define "song". My girlfriend and I are no composers, but we got a lil jingle for our cat that features the word "potato" a lot.
