The west is obsessed with peanut butter, but you have to TRY hazelnut butter/cream
It is so much sweeter and with a unique taste, I don't like peanut butter because it takes so much sugar to make it sweet but hazelnut is less calorie dense and sweeter, it just feel superior!
As someone who doesn't quite care for sweet things, I've always been a big fan of unsweetened peanut butter. At least in my area, the Teddie brand is surprisingly affordable compared to the other "specialty" peanut butters with no stabilizers/sugar, it's just peanuts and salt (and you can get unsalted, too)
too much sugar in peanut butter?
at least from where I am, it isn't really sweet, and, I'm used to put unsalted toasted peanuts in the blender and make my own, without anything else added, and it's great! I even use it when cooking some meals and they end very tasty
That sounds amazing! I wish other nut butters were more readily available where I'm at. At best, you can usually find sunflower and almond... Once I ordered sampler sizes of like 10 different ones from a specialty shop, the macadamia was ludicrously good.
