I've had rats, they would be 100% cool with this for a few minutes, especially if they get fed after.
That's a hooded rat. Can't tell what type because it's all squished into a cone.

Assuming they really are cool with it, I'd wager it's a bit like being wrapped in blanket. Pretty comforting.
Yeah good point; just like those compression vests you can get for cats and dogs that suffer with anxiety issues.
