Well, has been that way historically, anyhow. If you even work for a pharmaceutical company and you overhear at a weekend barbecue that someone has not taken a dose or doubled a dose etc, you’re obligated to report it within 24 hours.
Yep, I used to have a special card I had to keep in my wallet. It had a special number for them to call, and half of it had space for me to write down details (who/what/where) in the event I couldn’t get them to call
