I believe we have enough people of the political leaning in Texas to oust the Republicans, but only if they get the fuck to the polls and vote. Which they historically have not done.
It's probably been several cycles in a row that the Democratic Presidential nominee had garnered more votes in Texas than the Republican Gubernatorial nominee.

they are trying to cripple solar because their gas plants have to either lower production or shutdown cause solar and wind drops energy prices so low it's not profitable to run.
