The City of Glendale in Los Angeles County said in a statement on Sunday that the decision to end the agreement DHS and ICE was "not made lightly."
I hope every state does this, not sure what Trump’s reaction will be but also hope anti-immigration people don’t take law into own hands.

Make it income tax rather than sales tax, and I'm in. I live in a state that sends more to the federal government than we get back, so this would likely be a lower overall tax amount for me.

Why wouldn't they? Trump's border czar and Project 2025 contributor Tom Homan was literally an Obama pick to run ICE.
Not sure about the outcome but the intent seemed to be to get ICE to play ball and hold people locally where they could get help and see family. Now ICE will have to take their ball (innocent people) and bring it back home (El Salvador)
