They are "there". But they are not deployed or being used.
Everything we're seeing now is made up of federal law enforcement. Homeland Security/ICE/FBI/DEA wearing military uniforms. It's a giant LARP to give the appearance of troops to try and escalate.
LAPD is just there to get in on the "fun."

If history is anything to go by, especially recent history, then the plan is a convoluted web of "looking shocked" then some serious "doing nothing about it".
After being called out about being lazy and complacent they'll mention about doing some useless shit such as peaceful protests etc etc but then they will do more nothing.In a few years time the rest of the world will be laughing at how easily a failed 'business' 'man' and reality TV 'star' who was also a successful racist, paedo, convicted rapist, con man and 34 times felon took over the whole country in just a few months without a much of a fucking whimper from the populace.
