Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) wants to enforce a 10-year moratorium on AI regulation by making states ineligible for broadband funding if they try to impose any limits on development of artificial intelligence.
Federal broadband money just gets eaten by telcos with no results anyways. What's the stick here?
Yeah, with all the bureaucratic loops to jump through, it’s basically impossible for states to get access to this money. It’s like a Rube Goldberg machine that keeps breaking every step of the way.
