how has your pride month been?

Mine has been ok. Did some subtle bi stuff and came out to a friend but I'm just tired of bigots everywhere.

I could complain all evening but I'm just tired of our identity being seen as immoral. Just tired of my super religious community tbh

i got covid… so, not great. :P the big pride celebrations in my city were also all right at the beginning of the month when i was still super sick so i missed them all.

keep up your covid precautions please… covid is still out there and it can hit you really hard! i have to say sitting there reading about all these maskless club events while i had covid felt very darkly funny

Mine has been okay! Tensions seem higher than previous years. But I luckily live in a very blue state so I feel pretty safe even when celebrating.
it's been a very stressful month and I haven't gotten out to anything yet. Hoping to go to an event next week, my last chance. I don't usually do much for pride because I'm antisocial but I want to change that.
I've been trying to ignore most of the news cycle, and enjoy the month. I've been out to my friends as "transfemme on the inside" for years but this pride I asked a small group to use she/her and the name "Sarah" for me

I've also taken time to explicitly be more femme, even if it's just been in the house

It's been a good month, even if it's been contained. My town has been supportive, but it's residents are a mixed bag - a small blip of acceptance in a pretty unaccepting area
