SSU released unique footage from Operation "Spider Web," which resulted in the destruction of 41 Russian strategic aircraft.
The Security Service of Ukraine published some of the most striking videos of strikes on Russian strategic aviation aircraft. As a result of Operation "Spider Web," personally overseen by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and carried out by SSU Head Vasyl Malyuk and the Service’s team, 41 Russian aircraft were hit.
A significant portion of them were irreversibly destroyed, while some of the damaged aircraft will take many years to rebuild.
The footage shows FPV drone strikes by the SSU on four enemy airfields: Olenya, Ivanovo, Dyagilevo, and Belaya. These bases hosted the strategic aviation of the aggressor state, which regularly launches attacks on peaceful Ukrainian cities. Among the targeted aircraft were A-50, Tu-95, Tu-22, Tu-160, as well as An-12 and Il-78.
Total enemy aviation losses amount to 41 units.
During the operation, modern UAV control technology was used, combining autonomous artificial intelligence algorithms with manual operator control.
Specifically, some UAVs, after losing signal, continued their missions using AI along pre-planned routes. Once they approached and made contact with a designated target, the warhead activated automatically.
It’s worth noting that the estimated value of equipment destroyed as a result of the SSU operation exceeds 7 billion US dollars.

It does look that way. In the first shot, you can see the other A50 burning. The second shot shows the attack on the first one.
Unfortunately both are missing engines so they're for spares but they nailed the radars which is good.

Seriously though. Do the Russians really think that helps in any meaningful way? Even the most basic image recognition software would recognize the shapes of the aircraft under all those tires…
Supposedly they work against shrapnel, not to make them look less aircrafty.
They’d need to cover a lot more of the aircraft to protect against shrapnel. They’d probably have better odds playing the lottery for funding to build replacement aircraft.

Is it just me or is there a surprising lack of Russian response in all these videos? I don’t think I’ve seen a single person in all the videos that have been posted. Given the daylight I’d expect to maybe see maintenance crews, etc. Even if the whole attack lasted just a couple minutes I’d expect to see people running to put out the fires, trying to prevent drones from hitting other aircraft, and so on.
I’m just saying if I was a ruski and wasn’t completely propagandised to the point I want to risk my life for Putin. When I heard all these explosions and saw FPV drones. I would run the fuck away. Or hide somewhere far from valuable targets.
