Moderators interested in migrating to a new community on another instance might want to consider selecting an instance and doing so sooner rather than later so that users here have time to see a migration post here and subscribe to the new community.
Damn! :( That seriously sucks. I feel for the burned out admins and totally understand why they can't do it anymore. (The shitheads in the world have contributed to my own burnout, too.)
Thanks for posting here letting us know. I hope this community and other cool ones are able to find a new instance to call home and can come back better than ever.
I know this community hasn't been super active, but I've really enjoyed it. Thank you so much to all those who've contributed! <3 I hope to still see y'all around!
TBH I am not particularly adept in the fediversification things and not sure --- should we attempt to (is there a method for...) port any/all of the posts over there? Is there a way to "reassign" them? Hopefully with an automated tool of some sort.....
It appears to be !CassetteFuturism@lemmy.world, for anyone looking.

PieFed apparently has some functionality like this; the !InternetIsBeautiful@lemm.ee migration to !InternetIsBeautiful@piefed.social did this, and old posts---including, importantly, a new copy of images posted by lemm.ee users now hosted on piefed.social---are visible on that instance. I have not seen old posts yet show up on my own instance as of this writing, and am not sure whether they will do so or are even expected to do so.
The easiest method of transferring existing posts to a new instance is by migrating to a Piefed instance, which has a unique ability to create a backup of all previous content from a lemmy community.
One limitation is that the backed up previous content is only able to be seen from the piefed instance itself, it cannot be seen from outside lemmy instances (though people would still be able to go to this lemm.ee community from any other instance that was federated with it, as it will retain a local copy as well).
To create a new copy of the contents to another lemmy instance, I believe you would have to involve the use of an automated bot.
