One of the best things about lemmy is being able to make comments and posts with links, and not getting them removed.

I always have to censor links on any other centralised platform or else they get shadowremoved.

Which platforms do this and why?
I'm not on social media and I haven't been on reddit in roughly two years
- Youtube blocks any attempt to comment with links
- Reddit and youtube are the main offenders.
