I have zero doubt that if you could somehow wave a magic wand and make it so that men who are driven primarily by boner shame were unable to even comment, the whole anti-woke movement would instantly vanish.

I think people have the right to identify however they please, and someone else's judgment of it is irrelevant at best.

And actually, sexuality categories were key from the start. The reason that insecure men fear and feel shame over the prospect of a wayward boner is that they're afraid that sexuality is some sort of absolutist thing, such that the least inclination toward the same sex immediately removes them from the "straight" club forever.
It became explicit when, much to my surprise, someone responded to essentially argue that same position.

In that case it was very kind of you to direct a similar level of scrutiny to the people in this thread claiming that the only reason bigotry exists is because the bigots are secretly all turned on by it.
