Incantations are better than miracles. Also, 'Tarnished' is way cooler than 'Chosen Undead' or 'Bearer of the Curse', and slightly better than 'Unkindled' and 'Maidenless' is a cool name despite the memes.

In terms of how useful they are, I'd agree. But in terms of naming conventions it's useful that 'miracle' is implicitly connected to faith. I think incantations should have been what they called anything with a significant arcane component, since those are implied to be more exotic.
I've now spent way more brainpower on this than I should have.
