Almost none of their 'culture' is original. I'm struggling to think of a single part that is, whether NSDAP or neo-nazis.

- roman/viking/etc. roleplay: nope (Nazi Germans copying Roman culture is kinda funny when you think about it)
- Nazi ideology/neo-Nazi ideology: nope (both are a syncretic mess of other ideology's conclusions, as a result there's no consistent worldview capable of long-term success)
- "National Socialism": nope (name borrowed from an Austrian party[1], named to try and appeal to a wider audience by borrowing 'left-wing' and 'right-wing' symbolism. In fact, Hitler was in favour of a different name to try and distance from socialism)

It's not coincidence. They know. The right is forever lifting and co-opting from the identities they oppress. Compelling art depends on a compelling idea. They have few compelling ideas, so they steal the compelling art.

That's because Fascism is not an ideology. They have no ideals to strive towards, there's no transformational principle they aspire to. The only core tenet is: reach and stay in power by all means and at all costs. Thus the admiration of strength and the obsession with strong men. Whatever ideological or political principle they claim to support, including conservatism, is based on an utilitarian view. It will be trashed and denounced the very second it stops being of use. Ideology is but a coat of paint for the fascist and their collaborators.
The term "woke," meaning to be aware and attentive, especially to issues of racial and social justice, has a rich history in Black culture. Its origins can be traced back to the early 20th century when "stay woke" was used as an in-group signal for Black people to be aware of systems that harm them. This phrase gained further traction with musicians.
