It's about a diner in Tokyo that's open from midnight until 7 in the morning, and the deal is the diner's owner will make anything a customer requests, as long as he has the ingredients. There are a few recurring characters but generally each episode is about a new diner coming in and requesting a certain dish, and you find out why that meal is special to them and learn a little about their background.
It's very wholesome and visually satsifying (especially if you like watching food being made).
Not quite a show but the Marketplace podcast (marketplace.org or perhaps this PRI show is carried on your local NPR station) -- for some reason Kai Ryssdal's voice just makes it all better
The super fan edit of the US version of The Office usually. I have a separate library in Plex just for this so I can put it on shuffle and let it run.
On the rare occasion I get bored with it, or to give my wife a break which is needed more often, I’ll mix in Parks and Rec, Brooklyn 99, or Modern Family.
