Changed my oil today

I drive very little so I only need to change it annually. 2100 miles in a year.

While I was under there, I shot some rust converter on the worst spots. Just holding back the inevitable, though.

I know it’s a 20-30 min job. But I went at a relaxing pace. It took about an hour, maybe and hour and a half.

Couldn’t find what was squeaky in the front suspension, though.

When I read the title, my first thought was: "Must have gotten it out via liposuction, but how does the replacement go in?"

Then the obvious hit me - just drink the new oil.
- Haha...yes fair enough. I changed the truck's oil.
But I went at a relaxing pace.

I have a friend with a hall/barn type of thing who allows me to do it there. It's fun. He smokes joints and talks about all his cars while I do my thing. I learned not to let him touch my car or explain things to me right after he smoked one.

But I have a tougher problem right now - CO emissions are too high. Need more than a barn.
Doing a job at a leisurely pace and just enjoying the process is a wonderful thing.
Nice. I wish I had a space to do that kind of thing. I don't think I'd feel comfortable doing much more than changing a tire while parked on a semi-busy street
