That could be a reasonable amount based on the person. I'm a large framed dude, and when I was seriously trying to bulk through 7 days a week of HIIT, I had to eat like 5,000 Calories a day. My resting heart rate did get to the low 40s for a while, so that was cool (doctor said it was a good thing).
Btw, eating 5,000 Calories of healthy food a day fucking sucks. It's basically like eating is your full time job.
I usualy make around 200g... just for myself. It's not thaat crazy. I now a lot of people who do so.
I'm a relatively thin dude. But to be fair I do a lot of sports (although I have been injured for the past 3 month and haven't stopped eating that much)
I think it just realy depends on how effectively your body handles the food and therefore atrongly varies from person to person.
