LibreOffice is the top open source choice, and it has been the default choice for Linux users for more than a decade. I'd recommend everyone to have a try

It is listed, but didn't include their company name "Office NX" mostly due to space reasons ( I understand though that the full name is the most recognisable).

I grew up with word perfect. Shame what happened to that.
Sadly, there are too many excellent Canadian options. But thought I would share in case WordPerfect or Open Sourced options would be of interest :)
