Corporations would prefer to take away your right to public utilities than face a loss to their profit margin.
- Losses brought by their own stupid incompetence and greed
- It's not even a loss. If I pirate it, they lost nothing because I wasn't going to buy it anyways.
So they also wish to stop people being able to find jobs that would enable people to pay for their monopoly, prevent them from access the marketplaces where those same people would have a chance to buy their products? Now who's hurting potential earnings?
