There was a post recently in the Denver subreddit that posted an article about how all the "Devils are in Denver" from some crazy right wing site or whatever.
So I posted, "Blue cities have no clue what is headed their way"
Then a mod bans from me from the subreddit and didn't explain why my post was bad. I think it's pretty obvious given the urban, rural divide that blue cities are dealing with all kinds of stuff.
So I follow up to the mods, "Hey what is the ban about, I didn't break any rules?"
They didn't reply but made it where I can't speak to them for a month.
LOL, I also said something like it makes sense why everyone is leaving centralized sites like reddit.
Reddit has been shit for so long now in so many ways. So many subs are ruled by shithead mods too and /r/Denver is one of them. They delete tons of posts instantly for no reason other than their own reasoning. They lock protest threads. Then they allow bots, astroturfers and nutjob cpnservatives to endlessly troll.
That being said, I used to be friends with one of the Denver subreddit mods. I'm not sure if he's still there or not.
You're better off gone - just use it for the few times you need to search something and transition your conversations to here, if that works for you. It's what I did, and I'm generally much happier with the switch.
This is why we need to move everyone over here. Everyone who is here who can still talk on Reddit should link posts to here and encourage people to leave. Alternatively go to the Denver Discord. But we need to get off Reddit. Like others have said. Reddit admins are most definitely hard-right with their heads so far up Trump and the Republicans collective ass that they can taste what they had for dinner...
DenverCircleJerk had become the unofficial real Denver for a while now.
For real fun, though, open some of your comments in Denver, and many other subs in a private browser. They likely won't show up. Many subs seem very heavy at shadowbanning so many comments in recent months.
