The Kobo Libra I got a few years ago for 150 bucks has been a lifesaver. It's not particularly fast or big. But it's way better than the Kindle crap.
- So you ever have charging issues? Sometimes mine just dies, and then doesn't wanna charge.
  
  Yes. Though it might be related to the micro USB ports being bad. Or cables being bad.
  The newer USB C ones are guaranteed to be better.
This is the first version of this guide, so please share any feedback, and I'll include it in the next version.

- What is the symbol under the library apps?
  
  It means they share their profits with others. In this case, they enable you to support nearby libraries and facilitate the process.
What's the point of "Environmental" under causes if none of them have it?
- This is a generic format but you're right that it is confusing to keep in.

- I do wonder if Kobo is worth taking environmental, they do a lot of post-recycle plastic
Looks good, but I’m curious about sources showing to what extent Libby is profit sharing.
Kobo HQ is Toronto, but it’s owned by Rakuten of Tokyo so… not sure how to categorize that

What's with all the low res images on Lemmy? It happens often enough to be annoying.
