90s band alignment chart

Uh, they put sublime under happy because it's Ska-like. I don't think whoever made this chart ever listened to any of the words.

What I got is arguably their happiest song, and it's painfully obvious it's a depressed person reminding himself that life can be enjoyed, is worth living, even when everything is shit.

While there's a lot of disagreement on where bands belong, I think Rage Against the Machine as the pinnacle of Angry Music is one we can all agree with.

The amount of comments saying "ANGRY AND HORNY IS A THING!" has me a little worried about y'all.

I disapprove of the idea that angry and horny are opposites.

It's one problem that both angry and sad are opposed to happy, at least for me. While the opposite to horny is frigid, and in my experience, depressed.

NIN seems to have an angry tone. March of pigs, wish, hand that feeds, head like a hole. There is one sad balad as a cover. There is one horny lyric song, that also happens to be on the happier than sad side.

Pulp needs to move up a bit. If you don't think they do angry you have not been paying attention

I was about to make a comment about how blatantly stupid this chart is leaving out many bands (Nirvana, Tool, Pantera, etc) and getting alignments completely fucked up (NIN, No Doubt, L7....). Then I looked at the community it was posted in.

I would say rather than Angry Sad, that Deftones is Angry Horny with songs like Knife Party, Change In The House Of Flies, Digital Bath etc. but the chart puts them opposing 🤷

I'm just glad Veruca Salt made the list.

Also, I dunno if I'd lump Sublime into the "happy/horny" category. They're more on the "sad/horny" side of the chart.
