Phone charger - which brand?
Phone charger - which brand?
Actually I don't need it for my phone, but I need USB charger with 10W output (5V,2A). And I would like it not to cost too much, because I need more than one, but if its guaranteed made in Europe... Or any asian made that is not China? I know this is BuyEuropean, but if there is no option, my second rule is no China/US. Thank you
I don't want to ruin your day, but China might have a monopoly on those.

Ikea had a range of fairly good phone chargers a number of years ago, I wonder if they kept that line up to date
Edit: yep:
45w usb-c https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/sjoess-45w-2-port-usb-charger-fast-charging-80574457/
17w USB-A https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/smahagel-3-port-usb-charger-white-40539183/
They have a wireless charger too
Though it's not necessarily clear where they're made

Where have you seen the “based in England and Germany”?
1 0 ReplyThe German part is probably a mistake because I thought it was about this company: https://www.anker.net/
ANKER Solutions GmbH is a 140-year-old German company, but it is not ANKER SOLIX

Raspberry Pi power supplies are made in Cambodia (yes, really - though may just be final assembly). The one for the Pi 4 is USB-C and does 15W/3A.
2 0 ReplyI see, thank you :)

Whatever you do, dont buy HAMA
They are such a scam with their cable and electric products
1 0 ReplyYou know what, I think I had HAMA once, and it was unable to charge anything...
