Rashida Jones thinks being let go from 'The Office' 'made sense' due to her character Karen Filippelli standing in the way of John Krasinski's Jim and Jenna Fischer's Pam getting together.
I believe it set her up for parks and rec which was another great show.
it was, but her character brought next to nothing to it, other than being a straightperson, which adam scott's character was already doing.
side note: adam scott's character being the literal only person who didn't "get" little sebastian makes me grin to this day when I think of it. even ron would go gaga
I think her role in the office was good. It kept the absurdity grounded with the realism.
