"The Witch-king of Angmar enters Minas Tirith" by Lorenzo de Sanctis

I recently finished reading 'The Lord of the Rings'...and what a ride! Some parts of the story are pretty dull, but there is usually an EPIC scene after those parts.
I wanted to represent the scene how I imagined it, reading the book.
I took this illustration as an exercise to improve my skills in composition for an image for the cinema.
This image represents one of the epic moments. It's the moment when the Witch-king of Angmar enters Minas Tirith on his black horse.
"The Black Rider flung back his hood, and behold! he had a kingly crown; and yet upon no head visible was it set. The red fires shone between it and the mantled shoulders vast and dark. From a mouth unseen there came a deadly laughter."
After all, I loved the book, maybe even more than The Hobbit.
Read it if you have the chance. It's hard but worth it.
