Polish right takes hard line on Ukraine ahead of presidential vote

Heh. Let me recap the candidates mentioned:

Trzaskowski - Liberal being somewhat popular for actually opposing PiS in at least one PiS cash jump (PiS and PO are kinda like Rep and Dem party in USA, PO being minimally less on right although lately they try to overcome PiS from the right on racism and warmongering).

Nawrocki - basically political zero, a lot of people will vote for him because they would vote even for an carboard box if only it started from the PiS list. His Ukraine scepticism might be real because he is long time president of IPN, the only institution in Poland which was allowed to criticise banderites in form of Wołyń genocide rememberance. Then again, he only do it lately when the Big Brother USA also changed the tune and was shut up for all the time when his party held the government.
I would say he's not very trustworthy, but my trust in any Polish mainstream politician is exactly zero so that wouldn't be saying much.

Mentzen - oh boy. Self proclaimed monarchist, proponent of free market, total deregulation, catholic church, beating kids, racism, workers dying from hunger, antisemitism and abortion ban. In other word an average Polish libertarian. Also an successful business tyrant. His only interesting trait is belonging to a formation which unlike both previous ones isn't entirely sitting in atlanticist establishment pockets, so they sometimes can touch grass, but even when they do, they do it for the worst and most misguided possible reasons, also the entire party is just like him. Yuck.

Trzaskowski will most likely win.
