This Is the Dumbest Time to Buy Into MAGA

Centrist Democrats are scrambling to appease a right wing movement that will never accept them and has nowhere to go but down.

MAGA has nothing left to offer except more of the same: more screaming, more outrage, more rot. It's all downhill from here.

So what do we make of men like John Fetterman and Gavin Newsom, who now seem desperate to cozy up to it?

I think it’s more about the money. Progressives don’t donate money like corporations. Politicians are beholden to their donors. If there is a conflict between corps and constituents, they choose corps every time.
- But that doesn't explain the Newsom/Fetterman pivot. That's the part that is unimaginably dumb.
