Pies are just cakes that are better in every way.
I've had more pie with dry crusts than i have dry cakes.
Dry crust or not, pie interior is way better than cake interior
Fair. I do love me some cherry pie. But a good lemon cake with lemon curd and lemon frosting... mmm.
Cheesecake is better than both.
Cheesecake is just a pie that got co-opted into being called cake because everybody knows pie is the superior form.
