Liz Truss says being compared to a lettuce was not funny

Speedrunning the UK economy into the ground wasn't funny. The lettuce was

She sounds like a sore loser. That lettuce won fair and square.

Compared unfavorably to a head of lettuce. This was not a battle of equals as she claims.

This is unfair, the lettuce physically can't complain about being compared to liz.

You'd think somebody named Truss would be stable enough to laugh at being compared to a lettuce.

It was, just not for her

Huh, I thought it was hilarious.

She's right. It was hysterical.

And yet the lettuce was more useful and did outlast her.

Funny? Yes. Fair? No; she didn't stood a chance against that lettuce.
