This picture might as well have been in any one of the larger towns or any city.
Now days, in the USA, it could only happen in the larger cities, regardless of what the issues were about.

It’s my opinion anyway. I’ve seen the real world communities be less the past two generations. I know in my youth that’s how things were done to get the crowds out, and believe there is a missing mechanism in grassroots today in the USA
