I think we need to see mass demonstrations in favor of Cascadia in the PNW and CA
I think a lot of people are unsure what to do right now. We are all against what is happening but there is too much happening to for us to demonstrate against it all. We need something to demonstrate in favor for. One vision we can all share and keep pushing our leadership to support. A secession from the crumbling US and a formation of a new country.
I believe the west gets almost no representation in the federal government. By the times our polls even open, elections are usually already over as all that matters is how a few Eastern states vote. The results of elections from our states are largely ignored.
The US is simply too large to function and provide equal representation to all states. Primarily the western states provide for all the poorer red statea while they drag us down into the quagmire of their politics with votes that weigh more than ours.
If we secede we can form a new country that is based on the similarities we share as states and can form a better progressive government that isn't bogged down by what is happening in the South.
We can self-determinate a better form of government that is less susceptible to fascism with more than two parties, ranked choice voting, sane restrictions on capitalism and better representation for socialists.
