My dog peed on my foot while I was picking up my other dog's fourth poop (he says those are amateur numbers). But in walking them I discovered a wild hickory tree, wild black currant bush, and wild walnut tree and I'm going out to plunder them all.
I've no idea why, but I just spent too long immersing myself in RoundSparrow drama: all his comments on GitHub are now marked as Abuse, and the account at lemmy.ml is now banned (I realise it's not his only one).
I can, in some ways, relate to the feeling of being gaslighted when submitting a PR to someone else's GitHub project. Either being told that the issue isn't actually an issue, or - more commonly in my experience - being told that the fix has already been implemented on some private branch by a main developer (which then never sees the light of day).
I guess the gist is: Lemmy relies on auto-generated SQL that isn't efficiently handled (maybe).
That last PR is a bit sad to read. Was all going well until the other Project Lead stepped in, and then chaos.
If it's still there, the newest post in !fediverse@lemmy.ml (about blahaj) is not massively dissimilar (in essentially being about Autistic people struggling with online communications)
There are two spiders hanging out on my bathroom ceiling. One above the toilet and the other above the shower. The problem is that the one above the toilet has disappeared.
