What is even happening
Instead of making a cheescake they made a cake made of cheese.
No, we don't put grated cheese on smörgåstårta. There may however be sliced cheese (note: not the American fake cheese, real cheese) on top.
I've only had with cream cheese 'frosting', but it is clearly a variation of a savory cake.
